Who is entitled?

 Group-X: Passed with 50% marks in Inter or equivalent education (as Maths, Physics, English subjects) or 50% marks in three-year engineering diploma.  50% marks in English subject in diploma.  Group-Y: Inter (or) passing of course with 50% marks.  50% marks in English subject or two years Vocational Inter 50% marks.  50% marks in English Subject in Vocational Course  Age: Must have been born between January 17, 2003 and December 30, 2000.  Passed the Group Y Medical Assistant Trade with at least 50% marks in Inter Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects.  Note: Diploma candidates are only eligible for Group Exams.  Physical criteria: At least 152.5 cm.  There should be height.  When breathing, the chest should be at least 5 cm.  Expansion.  Must have good health.

Selection Method:

 Both are chosen.  Phase-1 includes an online test.  Eligible candidates will be selected for Phase-II.  Phase-1 testing is performed in objective manner.  0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.  Phase-2 Physical Fitness Test.  Those who are eligible will undergo medical examinations, certificate verification and final selection.  Training: These posts will be filled for a period of 20 years first.  Joint Basic Phase Training is followed by training in the respective trades.  Salaries: Rs 14,600 per month during training period.  After training, Group X gives them a starting salary of Rs.  In addition there will be DA and other allowances.  The IAF also provides facilities for ration, clothing, medicine, accommodation, canteen, holidays and transport.
